SentryScan

The SWECO SentryScan System alerts Separator operators to the potential for compromised screening performance by detecting when a tear in the screen has occurred. The SentryScan is a retrofit accessory that can improve your screening operation by guarding against costs associated with:

• Reprocessing or downgrading of off-spec product

• Contamination or overloading of downstream equipment

• Customer complaints and product recalls

Patent pending SentryScan technology takes advantage of the fact that wire screens pose a natural barrier to the transmission of microwave energy. When a tear occurs in the screen (creating an elongated opening), microwave signals pass through the tear and are picked up by the receiver, which in turn alerts the operator.
